Soon after unveiling the all-new TX model, Lexus continues to release images of the interior of this SUV. Although there are not many detailed images, the images provided by Lexus are enough to recognize the overall design of the TX.
The Lexus TX interior cabin features a predominantly black color tone with subtle gray accents on the dashboard and door handles. This large-size SUV only has 6 seats instead of 7. The middle row has only 2 seats but they are not executive type, the middle position is used to place a cup holder.
Another notable detail about the Lexus TX is the push-in door handle design. The sound system comes from the Mark Levinson brand.
Lexus TX can be considered as the premium version of the Toyota Grand Highlander. The D-pillar of this car is painted in glossy black, creating a seamless connection with the rear window.
Based on the information registered for trademark protection, Lexus TX will have 3 variants: 350, 500h, and 550h+. The engine of this luxury SUV is expected to be shared with the Grand Highlander, including a 2.4L turbocharged petrol engine (265 horsepower), a 2.5L hybrid engine (245 horsepower), and a 2.4L turbocharged petrol engine similar to the Lexus RX (362 horsepower).
Lexus confirmed that the TX model will be introduced on June 8th. This SUV is positioned between the RX and LX models and will also be a competitor to the BMW X7 and the Mercedes-Benz GLS.
