Recently, the Mazda Vietnam homepage quietly added a new standard version called 1.5L AT to the small SUV CX-3 lineup. Therefore, the Mazda CX-3 lineup in Vietnam now has a total of 4 versions, including 1.5L AT, 1.5L Deluxe, 1.5L Luxury, and 1.5L Premium. The prices of these 4 versions are 524 million, 559 million, 589 million, and 644 million dong, respectively.

Compared to the previous adjustment, the prices of the 1.5L Deluxe, 1.5L Luxury, and 1.5L Premium versions have increased. Specifically, the Mazda CX-3 1.5L Deluxe and 1.5L Luxury have both increased by 10 million dong. The corresponding increase for the 1.5L Premium version is 8 million dong.

Version New Price Old Price Adjustment
Mazda CX-3 1.5L AT 524
Mazda CX-3 1.5L Deluxe 559 549 10
Mazda CX-3 1.5L Luxury 589 579 10
Mazda CX-3 1.5L Premium 644 636 8

New prices of Mazda CX-3 (unit: million dong)

With the new standard version, the Mazda CX-3 becomes the cheapest B-segment SUV in Vietnam, even cheaper than the MG ZS (starting at 538 million dong). Of course, the new standard version will have less equipment compared to the other 3 versions.

Specifically, the new Mazda CX-3 1.5L AT is only equipped with halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights, and halogen taillights instead of LED. In addition, the car lacks features such as automatic headlight on/off and automatic cornering balance. The standard version still has 18-inch wheels, while the side mirrors are electrically foldable/adjustable.

Inside the car, the Mazda CX-3 1.5L AT features fabric seats, a 7-inch touchscreen, and a 6-speaker audio system. The seats, air conditioning, and central mirror for the new 1.5L AT version are all manually adjustable. However, the car still has electronic parking brake, temporary brake hold, push-button start, and cruise control.

The safety features of the Mazda CX-3 1.5L AT are quite basic, including 2 front airbags, ABS brakes, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (EBA), emergency stop signal (ESS), dynamic stability control (DSC), hill launch assist (HLA), and a rearview camera. The car does not have parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, or the i-Activsense active safety package like the premium version.

The “heart” of the Mazda CX-3 1.5L AT is still the SkyActiv-G 1.5L gasoline engine with a maximum power of 110 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 144 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. It also features sport mode, temporary engine shutdown, and G-Vectoring Control (GVC). The average fuel consumption of this version is 6.15 liters per 100 km.

The introduction of the new Mazda CX-3 1.5L AT will provide consumers in Vietnam with more options in the B-segment SUV segment. For those who only need a compact-sized car with basic equipment and an affordable price, this is a worth considering choice.
