Mazda CX-30 price adjusted in Vietnam, starting from VND 689 million

Similar to its sibling, the CX-3, the Mazda CX-30 has quietly undergone a price adjustment, increasing its cost compared to before.

Recently, on the homepage of Mazda Vietnam, the price of the CX-30 model has been updated. Compared to the previous adjustment, the price of the Mazda CX-30 has increased significantly.

Specifically, the Mazda CX-30 still has 2 versions, which are the 2.0 Luxury and 2.0L Premium. The selling prices of these 2 versions are 689 million and 729 million VND respectively. Therefore, the prices of both versions have increased by 25 million VND.

Not only the CX-30 but other B-SUV models of the Mazda brand, such as the CX-3, have quietly increased their prices. Specifically, both the 1.5L Deluxe and 1.5L Luxury versions of the Mazda CX-3 have increased their prices by 10 million VND, while the corresponding figure for the 1.5L Premium version is 8 million VND. In addition, the Mazda CX-3 has also added a new standard version called 1.5L AT. Currently, the selling price of this model ranges from 524 to 644 million VND.

Since its launch in Vietnam in 2021 along with the CX-3, the Mazda CX-30 has not achieved high sales and usually remains at a level of 100-200 units per month. In October 2023, this model achieved sales of 208 units, higher than the 100 units of the CX-3. Cumulatively from the beginning of the year until now, the Mazda CX-30 has convinced 1,292 Vietnamese customers – a modest figure in the B-SUV segment.

Compared to the CX-3, the Mazda CX-30 possesses a more impressive design and equipment. The interior of the Mazda CX-30 is also not considered as cramped as the CX-3.

The Mazda CX-30 is equipped with convenient features such as a head-up display, auto-dimming mirror, and electronic parking brake. In addition, it has relatively complete safety features such as 7 airbags, reverse camera, front/rear sensors, lane departure warning (LDWS), lane-keep assist system (LAS), radar-integrated adaptive cruise control (MRCC), blind-spot monitoring (BSM), rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA), smart city brake support (SBS), adaptive front-lighting system (HBC), and automatic headlight leveling system (AFS).

Under the hood of the Mazda CX-30 is a 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The engine delivers a maximum power of 153 horsepower and a peak torque of 200 Nm. In addition, it features GVC Plus acceleration control technology and temporary engine stop-start system (i-stop).

As a completely imported vehicle from Thailand, the Mazda CX-30 does not enjoy the 50% reduction in vehicle registration fee policy from the Government until the end of December 31, 2023.
