Compared to the newly launched car in the US, the 9th generation Toyota Camry introduced in the Asian region has some differences in exterior and interior.
On November 17, the Guangzhou Auto Show 2023 officially opened and the GAC Toyota booth brought the all-new 9th generation Camry. In China, the Toyota Camry 2025 is still distributed in 4 versions including LE, SE, XLE, and XSE with different equipment packages.
Compared to the US version, Toyota Camry 2025 in the Chinese market will have design adjustments to suit the tastes of consumers in this region. Accordingly, the headlight cluster has changed its design, the lower bumper has changed to a glossy black color, and the position of the front parking sensor has also changed. The radiator grille is refined into two types, one is a honeycomb black painted grille that emphasizes sportiness. The other type is a frameless grille with the same color as the body, focusing on luxury and fashion.
In addition to the above changes, the basic shape of the Toyota Camry 2025 in the general market is still the same as the car in the US.
Inside the cabin, the interior of Toyota Camry 2025 has been significantly upgraded compared to the previous generation. Similarly, the exterior, the 9th generation Camry in China also has changes in the cabin compared to the car in the land of the stars and stripes. Accordingly, the 7-inch digital dashboard has been redesigned, while the 8-inch infotainment screen is placed on top of the dashboard. The touch buttons on the wood trim and the center control panel are redesigned.

In China, Toyota Camry 2025 is offered with 2 powertrains. The first is the M20A-FXS 4-cylinder, Dynamic Force gasoline engine, 2.0 liter, 1,986 cc, maximum power of 152 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 188 Nm at 4,400 – 5,200 rpm. Combined with the 1VM electric engine, 113 horsepower, maximum torque of 206 Nm. The AWD version adds a rear engine 1WM, 41 horsepower, 84 Nm. The total power is 194 horsepower, combined with the E-CVT automatic transmission, front-wheel drive or AWD.

In terms of safety features, the all-new Camry will be equipped with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 safety package.
