VinFast has announced the suspension of its battery replacement service for the old models of electric motorcycles Ludo, Impes, and Klara S, to switch to a battery rental model. This new service will be implemented starting from November 2022.

The reason for discontinuing the battery replacement service is for VinFast to focus more on the development of battery rental services. Customers using the Ludo, Impes, and Klara S models will receive a 6-month battery rental subscription, equivalent to 2.1 million dong. Customers who choose the battery rental service will still be eligible for a free battery replacement if the battery quality drops below 70%.

VinFast has been providing the battery replacement service since 2022, allowing users of the aforementioned models to choose to replace the battery instead of waiting to recharge. The fee for each replacement is 25,000 dong/battery.
