After being launched in Thailand, Yamaha continues to introduce the PG-1 motorcycle model in the Vietnamese market with a single version priced at 31 million VND (including 10% VAT). This price is relatively much lower than the market in Thailand, which is 45 million VND. Customers who buy the motorcycle in December are also eligible for an 8% VAT discount, reducing the price to about 30.4 million VND.

The PG-1 combines the performance of an urban motorcycle with good enough efficiency for long journeys, offering a different driving experience. The motorcycle is designed to meet the needs of the younger generation and comes in 6 colors including black silver, silver orange, green moss, black gold, brown sand, and blue.

The motorcycle is equipped with a 4-stroke, SOHC, 113.7cc, 2-valve, electronic fuel injection, air-cooled engine. Both the front and rear tires are 90/100 16-inch. The PG-1 uses an “H-shape” design (30mm front fork – 130mm fork travel) with two independent forks running parallel until the third fork. The rear suspension is a double fork design with a 109mm travel. The entire suspension mechanism is placed outside the motorcycle body, creating a fascinating mechanical design. The instrument cluster combines a circular speedometer and an oval fuel gauge that displays information such as total distance, speed, and gear indicator. The lightweight handlebar is optimally sized and designed, with all the function buttons arranged (engine start button, passing button, turn signal, engine cut-off, horn).

The front brake of the PG-1 uses a disc brake and the rear brake uses a drum brake. The motorcycle uses a 5.1-liter fuel tank with a fuel consumption of 1.69L/100km. The fuel cap is located under the front seat, allowing for quick refueling.

The PG-1 is assembled in Vietnam and comes with 3 main genuine accessories: Casual, Camper, and Tracker.
