During the Guangzhou Auto Show 2023, famous phone brand Huawei officially unveiled their large SUV model called Aito M9.

Currently, this luxury SUV is being pre-sold with prices ranging from 500,000 – 600,000 CNY (1.7 – 2 billion VND).

Customers who pre-order this model will receive a discount of 10,000 CNY (equivalent to 34 million VND) and will be given priority for delivery. In addition, the company is also offering buyers a tour of the factory where the electric SUV is produced.

It is expected that the first batch of vehicles will officially arrive at dealerships next month. The Chinese phone brand reveals that after one month of pre-sales, the number of orders for the Aito M9 has exceeded 20,000.

Positioned in the large SUV segment, the Aito M9 has dimensions of 5,230 x 1,999 x 1,800 (mm) in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. These dimensions are equivalent to the VinFast VF 9 model in Vietnam.

The car is available in two versions: pure electric and extended range electric vehicle (EREV).

In general, the Aito M9 has a modern and dynamic design with a new “Kunpeng Zhanyi” design language. The front of the car makes an impression with its polygonal headlights connected by a central light strip, along with a closed front grille that gives the whole car a more sophisticated and youthful look.

The Aito M9 is also equipped with smart Huawei xPixel lights with various effects when the car is stationary to enhance the interaction between the vehicle and the driver.

From the side, the car has a more straight roofline. The windows are surrounded by silver frames to create a more youthful visual effect. The front and rear fenders slightly protrude to create a muscular look. In addition, the addition of hidden door handles and a new type of rims give it a wind resistance coefficient of only 0.26cd.

At the rear, the Huawei Aito M9 features a minimalist design with tail lights similar to the headlights, accompanied by a prominent Aito logo.

Inside the cabin, the Aito M9 offers a spacious and comfortable six-seat configuration. Most details in the car are wrapped in leather material. The car is equipped with the HarmonyOS 4.0 cockpit with 3 large screens. In addition, the car is also equipped with the AI Intelligence Crystal entertainment system. The Aito M9 is also the first car from Huawei to be equipped with the Xiaoyi digital assistant to maximize user support in both driving and entertainment.

Powering the Aito M9 are two drivetrain options. The first option is the EREV version, equipped with 2 electric motors (496 horsepower) and a 1.5L internal combustion engine (operating as a generator). This version has a battery capacity of 40,055 kWh, providing a pure electric range of 175 km.

The second option is the pure electric (EV) version which uses two Huawei electric motors, with the front motor producing a maximum power of 125 horsepower and the rear motor producing a maximum power of 308 horsepower. This version is equipped with a CATL ternary (NMC) battery with a capacity of 97,682 kWh, providing a range of up to 630 km.

It is known that the Aito M9 is a collaboration between Huawei and Seres. Seres is responsible for manufacturing, while Huawei provides electric motors, chips, sensors, and some other components.
