After being unveiled in September, the all-new Hyundai Sonata 2024 has now been officially priced.
Hyundai Sonata 2024 has a starting price of $27,500 (about 667 million VND) and goes up to $37,200 (about 900 million VND). Compared to its predecessor, the new Sonata has a higher price, but this is understandable as the company has discontinued the standard SE version.
Therefore, the Sonata SEL will become the lowest-priced version. This variant comes with an expected 2.5L GDI 4-cylinder engine producing 191 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque, paired with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the company also offers the option of all-wheel drive on this version with a price difference of $1,500 (about 36 million VND).
The higher-end version is the Sonata SEL Convenience with a listed price of $30,550 (about 741 million VND). This version also has the same engine configuration as the standard variant.
Meanwhile, the Sonata 2024 N Line has a starting price of $34,950 (about 848 million VND). This variant features a turbocharged 2.5L 4-cylinder engine producing 290 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque, paired with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Alongside that, Hyundai also offers hybrid engine options for this popular sedan model. Among them, the Sonata HEV SEL has a starting price of $30,800 (about 747 million VND). This variant is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 2.0L gasoline 4-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Sonata HEV Limited is the most expensive variant, priced at $37,200 (about 902 million VND). Hyundai has not announced the engine configuration for this variant.
The company will start delivering cars to pre-order customers from early 2024.
In the United States, Hyundai’s D-size sedan competes with rivals such as the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Nissan Altima.
