Currently, there are no official car exhibitions in the UK. However, this year is the first year that the London Classic Car Show, a vintage car exhibition, took place in the foggy city. It is hoped that this exhibition will continue to expand in the coming years.
Taking place in early February, the London vintage car exhibition attracted 25,000 visitors to admire a series of Le Mans racing cars and 13 important cars that have had a significant impact on the world, selected by James May, the host of the TV show, Top Gear.
Among the most prominent cars showcased at this year’s London vintage car exhibition are the Bugatti EB110 and the bright blue Lancia Stratros. Other famous and rare cars on display include the McLaren F1 GTR, the Ford GT40 in Gulf Racing livery, the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, and many more famous racing cars.
Interestingly, alongside the vintage cars, the exhibition also featured some modern cars, such as a pair of brand new “hard” Aston Martins and a blue Ferrari F430.
