The upgraded version of Kia Sonet will have changes in both exterior and interior. The short introduction paragraph shows that the front part of the car will undergo significant changes, with the LED headlights redesigned and the daytime running lights made to resemble the upgraded Seltos model.
The lower variant of Sonet will only have halogen headlights. The tiger-nose grille and lower bumper will be refined, with slim LED fog lights and a thin horizontal strip. The only change on the side is the new turbine-shaped alloy wheels, with a larger design and 2 color options.
The interior of the car has not been fully revealed, except for the driver’s position and the integrated screen with the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. The only downside is that the screen bezel is still thick, and the air vents remain unchanged. Additionally, the upgraded Kia Sonet will come with a Bose audio system.
According to some sources, the Kia Sonet will have some safety upgrades, such as the ADAS active safety package, 6 airbags, and the use of soft plastic in the interior. The car will still use the 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine, and 1.5L diesel engine. The upgraded Kia Sonet will put pressure on its competitor, the Toyota Raize, with its attractive design and upgraded features.
