Recently, the Youtube channel KindelAuto spotted the prototype of the Kia Sorento Facelift during a test drive and this is the first time we have a glimpse of the interior of this model. Accordingly, the Sorento facelift will be equipped with a new large curved screen that we have seen on the latest Kia models. This screen is a combination of the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment screen.
The new Kia Sorento will be the first model to follow the design language of the Kia EV9. Therefore, we can expect major changes at the front with vertically placed headlights similar to its larger sibling. In addition to the lighting, it seems that the car will also receive a new grille design and a redesigned front bumper.
The taillights seem to receive changes in the lighting graphics. Meanwhile, the rear bumper is completely covered so it’s hard to detect any upgrades that will be made.
The interior is also expected to receive notable upgrades in addition to the new curved screen. Furthermore, we can expect upgrades to the safety system, new interior trim materials, and a new steering wheel.
The power for the car is likely to come from the same engine options as the current version but will be refined for better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
