New BMW X5 and BMW XM Duo Officially Launched in Vietnam

BMW X5 is the model that created the concept of a Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) for BMW. With 4 generations, more than 2.2 million BMW X5s have reached customers worldwide. The new BMW X5 in the Vietnamese market will continue to make an impression in the segment thanks to its powerful design and leading technology.

Pioneering design with Slim headlight

The exterior elements give the new BMW X5 a more powerful and streamlined appearance. The front of the car features a balanced arrangement of headlights and the characteristic kidney grille of BMW. The headlight cluster has a thinner border of less than 35 mm, while the daytime running lights in the shape of an arrow serve as the indicator lights of the car. The Adaptive LED lighting system with BMW Selective Beam anti-glare feature is equipped as standard.

The design enhancements of the new BMW X5 include a flat front air intake, lower-positioned vertical air vents and air intake slots. The rear LED lights and brake lights feature prominent contours. The 3D-shaped L-shaped LED taillights create an X shape when the two taillights are combined.

Curved Display interior with digital cockpit

The integration of digital technology in the main control of the interior compartment is the most valuable upgrade on the new BMW X5. Integrating the BMW 8.0 operating system and the iDrive control system allows owners to intuitively and easily control the car. The Curved Display consists of a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a 14.9-inch center control display. With these upgrades, the control panel of the new BMW X5 uses touch and voice control.

The standard equipment in the interior compartment includes comfort seats and premium wood trim. A new feature added is the Light Bar lighting system that surrounds the LED character X5, similar to the BMW X7.

New engine with 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.

The BMW X5 is equipped with the standard Mild Hybrid drivetrain. The first component of this system is a 3.0L 6-cylinder in-line combustion engine directly connected to the 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. The powerful engine combined with the all-wheel drive system allows the X5 to operate safely in various terrain conditions.

The biggest improvement of the new BMW X5 is the 48V Mild Hybrid technology. The application of this technology appears in the form of an electric motor directly integrated into the transmission. The Mild Hybrid motor produces up to 9 kW/12 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque, optimizing the combustion engine’s performance and providing smoother acceleration with higher efficiency.

The new engine delivers a maximum power increase of 46 horsepower compared to the previous version, reaching 381 horsepower. The torque of the X5 reaches 540 Nm thanks to the Mild Hybrid technology. With these changes, the new BMW X5 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.

New optimized chassis technology for better handling on the BMW X5

In the BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport version, the car uses the M Adaptive Suspension system, which enhances the sporty driving experience. In addition, the driver can customize the suspension stiffness/softness to match the Eco Pro, Comfort, and Sport driving modes. The xDrive40i xLine version uses an optimized air suspension system for a smoother and more comfortable driving experience.

Advanced driving assistance system.

The new BMW X5 is equipped with a lane departure warning system, collision warning and automatic braking system. The driving assistance system on the new BMW X5 also offers features such as parking assistance and 360-degree camera for reversing.
