At the beginning of July, Toyota released teaser images for the upcoming Land Cruiser model for the US market. Currently, there is not much official information from the Japanese automaker, but it is likely that this SUV model will be identical to the new Land Cruiser Prado model for the European market. And here is the sketch of the Toyota Land Cruiser 2025 design from Kolesa.ru.

Previously, official teaser images of the US version Land Cruiser (different from the global version introduced in 2021) showed a large boxy SUV with a short protrusion and classic design lines. The overall design of the new Land Cruiser is reminiscent of the new Lexus GX model, but still retains Toyota’s characteristic details such as the front grille and daytime LED strip lights.

The interior of the Toyota Land Cruiser 2025 is likely to offer a three-row configuration with seven seats, combining practicality with the latest Toyota technologies.
The Land Cruiser 2025 is expected to share the TNGA-F platform with the Lexus GX and other SUV models as well as other pickup truck models from the Japanese automaker. If it has the same length of 5,005 mm as the GX, it will be slightly longer than the Land Cruiser J300 with a length of 4,985 mm currently distributed in other markets. However, the different front and rear bumper designs may change the length of the new Land Cruiser.
For the drivetrain, it is likely that the Land Cruiser 2025 will be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 3.4L engine, producing a maximum power of 349 horsepower, similar to the Lexus GX model, and may have the option of the i-Force Max hybrid engine for a combined power of 437 horsepower, as on the electric hybrid Toyota Sequoia model. Regardless of which engine option is chosen, the Land Cruiser 2025 is highly likely to come with a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4WD.
