Real-life images of the VinFast VF 7 commercial version have just been unveiled, providing users with a clearer view of this car model.

VF 7 is the 6th smart electric SUV model, completing VinFast’s range of pure electric SUVs, covering all segments from A to E.

The VinFast VF 7 comes in two versions: Base and Plus, designed in the “Asymmetric Aerospace” language by Torino Design (Italy), embodying freedom, technology, trendiness, and personality.

The front and rear of the car are highlighted by the signature VinFast wing-shaped LED strip. The coupe-like sloping roof and large wheel arches, 20-inch alloy wheels contribute to a strong and sporty look.

With a length of 4,545mm (wheelbase 2,840 mm), width 1,890mm, height 1,635.75mm and ground clearance of 190 mm, the VF 7 offers a spacious and well-appointed interior with premium leather seats.

The VF 7 is designed with the driver in mind, with interior highlights including a large 12.9-inch touch screen infotainment system, a heads-up display (HUD), a unique two-tone D-cut steering wheel and exquisitely designed piano-like shift buttons.

To enhance personalization, the VF 7 comes in 6 exterior colors, 2 interior colors. In addition, the Plus version can be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, adding a touch of luxury and superior experience compared to the C segment.

In terms of performance, VinFast equips the VF 7 Plus version with two electric motors with a total maximum power of up to 260 kW (equivalent to 349 horsepower), a maximum torque of 500 Nm, and a full-time all-wheel drive system. This makes the car the most powerful machine in its segment. Combined with a 75.3 kWh battery pack, the car can travel up to 431 km per full charge (according to WLTP standards).

Meanwhile, the VF 7 Base version is equipped with a single electric motor with a maximum power of 130 kW (equivalent to 174 horsepower), a maximum torque of 250 Nm, and a 59.6 kWh battery pack, with a maximum range of 375 km per full charge (according to WLTP standards). While the Plus version will meet the maximum speed and long-distance travel needs, the Base version will be a stylish and flexible choice for urban roads.

In terms of safety features, the car is equipped with 8 airbags and full range of advanced active safety systems such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control system (TCS), hill start assist (HSA), rollover prevention (ROM) … In particular, the Plus version is equipped with an advanced ADAS driving assist system with 11 basic features and 15 advanced features. At the time of delivery, VF 7 will have basic ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic warning, blind spot warning, door opening warning, emergency autonomous braking, 360-degree camera system … Other features will be updated remotely by VinFast for free in 2024.

Both versions come with the VF Connect smart service package with a range of state-of-the-art technologies and intelligent features such as a virtual assistant capable of interacting in various Vietnamese dialects, vehicle control and query support, storytelling; automatic emergency calling function; unauthorized intrusion monitoring and alert; real-time vehicle monitoring and display information … These are features only available on VinFast electric vehicles, completely different from gasoline models in the same segment.

The VinFast VF 7 Base version is priced at 850 million VND (excluding battery) and 999 million VND (including battery); the Plus version is priced at 999 million VND (excluding battery) and 1.199 billion VND (including battery).

VinFast offers a battery leasing package of 2.9 million VND/month for a maximum travel distance of 3,000 km/month, and 4.8 million VND/month for distances over 3,000 km. The battery lease deposit is 41 million VND, which will be refunded to the customer when they terminate the battery leasing contract, return the battery to VinFast, or transfer the car and battery to another person.

VinFast will officially start accepting deposits for the VF 7 from 12:00 on December 2, 2023, at VinFast showrooms and distributors nationwide or through the website https://reserve.vinfastauto.com. With a non-refundable deposit of 50 million VND, customers who make a deposit for the VF 7 before 24:00 on December 30, 2023, will receive a discount of 30 million VND (deducted from the car price) and a free one-year public charging at charging stations. Customers will not be eligible for these benefits if they transfer the deposit to another person.

The first commercial VF 7 cars are expected to be delivered to customers before Lunar New Year.
