2022 Mercedes-Maybach S 580 Commands 11 Billion VND After 1 Year of Ownership

According to the information shared, this 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S 580 was privately imported to Vietnam and has only driven 5,500 kilometers. All details from the exterior to the interior of the car are still quite new.

It is known that when imported, the car cost nearly VND 17 billion. To drive it, the owner may have to spend a total of no less than VND 19 billion.

Therefore, after just about a year of use, the owner has suffered a loss of up to VND 7 billion, depreciating about 40% of the initial value, equivalent to about VND 1.3 million per kilometer.

The reason for such a significant loss in value is that currently, new Mercedes-Maybach S 580 models are being offered by private dealers at prices as low as VND 13.5 billion. On the other hand, the high-end S 680 model is also being officially distributed at a price of around VND 16 billion. Meanwhile, the official S 450 model is priced at only VND 8.2 billion.

Compared to the top-of-the-line model, the Mercedes-Maybach S 680, the S 580 doesn’t have many differences in terms of exterior. The sedan model from the three-pointed star brand still exudes luxury with a range of shiny chrome details such as a large grille, front/rear bumpers, trunk trim…

The car has dimensions of 5,289 x 1,921 x 1,502 mm respectively and a wheelbase of 3,395 mm.

Since it has only been used for about a year, the overall interior details of the car are still quite new. The interior of the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 features modern design and a rich sense of fashion thanks to the combination of premium features and a sleek layout of the S-Class lineage.

Powering the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, equipped with the EQ Boost technology, delivering a power output of 496 hp and 700 Nm of torque. In which, the electric motor supplements 21 hp and 249 Nm.

The engine is accompanied by a 4Matic 4-wheel drive system and a 9-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
