Singer Vehicle Design, a company specializing in customizing and restoring cars based in Los Angeles, USA, has recently unveiled a pristine 1990 Porsche 911. Rob Dickinson, a British singer and the Creative Director of Singer, has been instrumental in bringing these vintage Porsches to life during his collaboration with the company.
Not just a restoration, the 1990 Porsche 911 964 has also undergone weight reduction and power enhancement, according to its owner, Scott Blattner. Blattner shares, “The people at Singer always ask ‘what if’ questions, and my ‘what if’ question was ‘what if Singer worked on and restored my beloved 27-year-old Porsche 964, with the support of modern technology from Formula 1 era.”

The perfect Moss Green Porsche 911 in its new appearance. From the hood to the front bumper and the turn signals, they are all meticulously crafted and bring a fresh yet vintage look. Additionally, details such as fender flares, a ducktail spoiler, underbody diffusers, and a rear diffuser maximize the car’s aggressive presence and aerodynamics.
A small but interesting detail is the door handle. The handle has been partially cut off, giving it a unique look. The BBS Fuchs-style wheels further enhance the car’s sporty appearance. Inside, the cabin combines Moss Green, black, and Blood Orange colors. The cabin is designed in a retro-modern style with traditional lines and premium materials. Leather is complemented with carbon accents, creating focal points throughout.
The interior is meticulously redone with attention to every detail.
The new engine brings a surprise to this 27-year-old Porsche. The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter I6 engine delivers a maximum output of 500 horsepower and can rev up to over 9,000 RPM. Both the engine and gearbox have been optimized with lightweight materials to reduce the car’s weight. As a result, this Porsche 911 weighs only about 990 kg.
This is not the only Porsche 911 that has been customized by Singer. The company has revealed that they have provided similar parts for another 75 customers. Of course, each car will be personalized to meet the individual preferences of the owners.
