In December 2023, many “super vip” license plates in provinces and cities continued to be auctioned, including super hot plates like “sảnh tiến” (advancement hall) and “ngũ quý” (quintuplet) that many people are eagerly waiting for such as: 30K-567.89; 51K-999.99; 12C-123.45; 22A-222.22.
Recently, the auctioning unit has announced the list of license plates to be auctioned in December 2023. Specifically, on December 6th, there were 389 license plates put up for auction. The auction takes place from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Notably, on December 6th, there was a vip plate with the number 30K-567.89 that was put up for auction for the third time. In addition, there were also some “tứ quý” (quadruplet) plates that attracted a lot of attention, such as: 47A-599.99, 51K-822.22, 62A-377.77, 29D-566.66. The auction time for each session is still 60 minutes per license plate.
From December 16th onwards, the second round of car license plate auctions will begin. This time, the auction time will be adjusted to only 30 minutes per license plate to save time.
In the case of having only one person registered and qualified to participate in the auction, the car license plate will be transferred directly to that person and no auction will be organized as it is currently. The winner of the auction in this case will receive a notification and a confirmation record. They need to confirm the auction record within 120 minutes.
The second auction round will have 288,668 license plates expected to be brought to the auction floor.
In the list, there are a series of quintuplet license plates of Hanoi that many people are interested in, such as: 30K-666.66; 30K-777.77; 30K-888.88; 30K-999.99; 30L-111.11 (car); 29K-111.11 (truck). In Ho Chi Minh City, there are also a series of hot license plates such as: 51K-999.99; 51L-111.11; 51L-222.22; 51L-333.33.
According to information from the functional agencies, in the first auction round (from September 15th to December 16th), there have been over 153,000 license plates listed for people to choose from, including nearly 6,000 license plates successfully auctioned off with a total auction value of about 700 billion VND.
