Even though the MG RX5 was recently introduced to the Vietnamese market, it has already garnered attention from dealers who are offering incentives to attract customers.

At a dealership, the 2024 MG RX5 is currently being offered with a cash discount that is equivalent to 100% of the registration fee. Specifically, the standard version of the MG RX5 has a listed price of 739 million VND, reduced to 699 million VND (for the first 299 customers, according to the company’s policy), and now further reduced by approximately 600 million VND at the dealership. The highest-end RX5 model, previously priced at 829 million VND, is now available for 799 million VND and further reduced to just over 700 million VND at the dealership.

The actual selling price of the MG RX5 is considered quite attractive, comparable to B-segment SUVs/CUVs such as the Mazda CX-3, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos in the C-segment SUV/CUV category.

The MG RX5 has dimensions of 4,571 x 1,855 x 1,719 mm (length x width x height). Similar to other MG models, the RX5 features a youthful and modern design. The front of the car is impressive with a large grille in the shape of an hourglass, reminiscent of Lexus.

The headlight cluster is surrounded by a distinctive C-shaped LED daytime running light. Below, there are two large vertically placed air vents. The high-end version of the MG RX5 also comes with carbon fiber trims and a front spoiler with aerodynamic flaps.

The MG RX5’s rear lights have a similar design to the headlights, creating a seamless look for the exterior. Above, the car has a cat’s ear-shaped roof spoiler (only available on the high-end version) to increase stability at high speeds and give the CUV a sportier appearance.

Inside the cabin, the MG RX5 features a modern interior with 5 seats. The seats are upholstered with dual-tone leather, while the dashboard and door panels are adorned with wood accents. The three-spoke steering wheel is accompanied by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The car’s 14.1-inch center touchscreen is vertically oriented and seamlessly integrated with the center controls.

For power, the MG RX5 is equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, delivering a maximum output of 168 horsepower and a peak torque of 275 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with shifting times as quick as 0.2 seconds.
