Rolls-Royce cars are still quite unfamiliar to Vietnamese consumers. However, on the streets of Vietnam, people often come across new models such as the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Wraith, or Ghost. Therefore, rare vintage cars like the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark I spark curiosity and fascination.

In Vietnam, the number of vintage Rolls-Royce cars can be counted on one hand. Previously, there was another Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark in Saigon. However, this Rolls-Royce belonged to the Silver Spirit Mark III series from 1993.
Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark III in Saigon
It is known that the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark I in Hanoi was manufactured in 1982. Compared to the one in Saigon, the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark I has a more unique paint color. The body of the Hanoi Silver Spirit Mark I is a combination of dark green and gold. In particular, the gold color is used for the hood, roof, and trunk of the car.
At the front of the car, the characteristic waterfall grille of the Rolls-Royce family is still present. Above the grille is the familiar yellow Spirit of Ecstasy “flying lady” emblem.
The car is equipped with classic-style heavy spoked wheels along the sides. Inside the wheel, there is a “toned-on-tone” green circle that matches the body color. In addition, there is a coachline running from the front to the rear of the car.
Especially, the doors of the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark I open like regular cars, unlike the reverse suicide doors. There are circular exhaust pipes at the back of the car, one on each side.
The “heart” of the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Mark I is a V6 engine with a displacement of 6.75 liters and a 4-speed automatic transmission produced by GM.
