During a routine traffic stop on August 21, local police discovered a major drug trafficking operation involving millions of dollars in cash, unregistered weapons, and over 80 vehicles.
Among the vehicles were 45 classic cars and 37 other sports cars, mostly Toyota Supra Mk4s and BMW M3s.
The Massachusetts media reported that 41-year-old Cory A. Taylor was temporarily detained on August 21 after traffic police “gently” discovered 62.5 kg of marijuana in the van he was driving, along with a FedEx delivery uniform. Taylor initially claimed that he was being paid to deliver the shipment to his mother’s house. He was later released on bail.
However, as the police dug deeper into Taylor’s background, they discovered that he was actually the mastermind behind the drug trafficking operation, rather than just a “worker”. His mansion was swiftly searched, revealing 8 luxury cars, 24 firearms with ammunition, millions of dollars in cash, and a significant quantity of drugs.
The drug lord proudly showcased his fleet of cars on Facebook.
Upon searching Taylor’s mother’s house, the police also discovered 37 vehicles stored in a large garage, including at least 8 Toyota Supra Mk4s, 3 Nissan GT-Rs, 5 BMW M3s (E46), and 3 BMW M3s (E92). However, the rarest cars found were 3 Nissan Skyline GT-Rs (R34).
