Introduced since November 21, VinFast VF 7 has officially been launched and displayed at an event in Ho Chi Minh City for the public to admire and experience this electric car model.

The VinFast VF 7 electric car model is positioned in the C Crossover segment. This is a segment with a relatively high sales volume in the Vietnamese market, and VF 7 is expected to be the flagship that will increase VinFast’s market share in the electric car industry in the future.

VinFast VF 7 is designed in the “Asymmetric Aerospace” language by Torino Design (Italy), representing freedom, technology, trendiness, and personality.

The front and rear of the car are highlighted by the distinctive VinFast LED strip lights. The coupe-style sloping roof and large wheel arches with 20-inch alloy wheels contribute to the car’s strong and sporty appearance.

With a length of 4,545mm (2,840mm wheelbase), width of 1,890mm, height of 1,635.75mm, and ground clearance of 190mm, VF 7 offers a spacious interior with premium leather seats.

VF 7 is designed with the driver in mind, with interior highlights including a large 12.9-inch touchscreen entertainment system, a head-up display (HUD), a unique two-color D-cut steering wheel, and exquisitely designed piano-like shift buttons.

To enhance personalization, VF 7 offers 6 exterior color choices and 2 interior color options. The Plus version also offers a panoramic glass roof, adding a sense of luxury and superior experience compared to the C segment.

In terms of performance, VinFast equips the VF 7 Plus version with two electric motors with a total maximum power of 260 kW (equivalent to 349 horsepower), maximum torque of 500 Nm, and all-wheel drive, making it the most powerful car in its segment. Combined with a 75.3 kWh battery pack, the car can travel up to 431 km on a full charge (according to WLTP standard).

Meanwhile, the VF 7 Base version is equipped with a single electric motor with a maximum power of 130 kW (equivalent to 174 horsepower), maximum torque of 250 Nm, and a 59.6 kWh battery pack, capable of traveling up to 375 km on a full charge (according to WLTP standard). While the Plus version meets the need for speed and long-distance travel, the Base version offers style and flexibility for urban roads.

In terms of safety features, the car is equipped with 8 airbags and a full range of advanced active safety systems such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control system (TCS), hill-start assist (HSA), roll-over mitigation (ROM), etc.

At the time of delivery, VF 7 will be equipped with basic ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, door open warning, emergency automatic braking, 360-degree camera system, etc. Other features will be updated for free by VinFast remotely in 2024.

Both versions are equipped with the intelligent VF Connect service package, featuring the most advanced technologies and smart features such as a virtual assistant that can interact in multiple regional Vietnamese accents, voice control, storytelling, automatic emergency calling, unauthorized intrusion monitoring and alert, real-time vehicle information monitoring and display, etc. These are exclusive features of VinFast electric cars, completely different from other gasoline-powered cars in the same segment.

The base version of VinFast VF 7 is priced at 850 million VND (excluding battery) and 999 million VND (including battery), while the Plus version is priced at 999 million VND (excluding battery) and 1.199 billion VND (including battery).

The battery leasing deposit is 41 million VND, which will be refunded to the customer when they terminate the battery leasing contract, return the battery to VinFast, or transfer the vehicle and battery to another person.

The car comes with a 10-year or 200,000 km official warranty (whichever comes first), and the battery is warrantied for 10 years with unlimited mileage. In addition, customers are supported by a range of unique after-sales services specifically for VinFast electric cars throughout the vehicle ownership, including Mobile Service, Mobile Charging, 24/7 Rescue and Emergency Assistance, Special support for inconveniences caused by manufacturing defects, Commitment to repurchase used electric cars after 5 years, etc. The public charging station network covering highways, urban areas, schools, hospitals, shopping centers, etc. in all 63 provinces and cities also makes it convenient and easy to use VinFast electric cars nationwide.
