Based on some leaked images, Rushlane, an Indian car website, has sketched the new Hyundai Creta to give users a better idea.
According to that, the upgraded version of Hyundai Creta for India will have a unique design, different from the predecessor. The front of the car will have a wider radiator grille with similar decorative details as the new Verna sedan. The front lighting system will have a two-tier design with LED daytime running lights on top and main headlights below. The car’s front may have a parking assist touch-sensitive sensor, similar to the Kia Seltos facelift.
Moreover, the Hyundai Creta facelift will also receive minor adjustments to chrome details, decorative strips, LED taillights, wheels, and shark fin antenna.
Regarding the interior, the cabin of Hyundai Creta 2024 is expected to have many similarities with the Seltos facelift. The car will have a dual-screen integrated into the dashboard, electrically adjustable seats, ventilation, etc.
In this upgrade, Hyundai Creta 2024 may be equipped with a technology package with 17 driving assist features like the Seltos and 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, traction control, ABS brakes, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESP).
As for the powertrain, the current 1.4L turbocharged gasoline engine of the Creta has been discontinued and will not appear on the facelift version. Instead, the SUV will be equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine producing 115 horsepower. The 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine and 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine may also be available on the Creta facelift. It is worth noting that the car may also be added with an electric powertrain.
Expectedly, Hyundai Creta facelift will be launched in India on January 16, 2024. After that, it is likely that this car model will also be brought to Vietnam.
