Mercedes-AMG SL duo debuts in Vietnam with a starting price of VND 6,959 billion.

Mercedes-AMG SL 43 is considered to be the new icon of a convertible sports car, with an announced selling price of VND 6,959,000,000.

The SL 43 offers 6 exterior color options including Sun Yellow, Obsidian Black, Hyper Blue, High-tech Silver, Spectral Blue, Selenite Gray. Inside the cabin, customers can choose from 4 different options of Nappa leather: Black, Sienna Brown, Pepper Red, Sage Grey.

Notable highlights on the Mercedes-AMG SL 43 include: The new 2.0L engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology, assembled with the motto “One man, one engine”. The car has an acceleration speed from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 275 km/h.

Mercedes-AMG SL 43 receives the AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package II for its exterior design. The AMG Performance sports seats are available for the driver and front passenger. The soft top is in black color with a heated rear window function. The car features the simulated racing function called AMG Track Pace.

In addition, the car also receives the new-generation MBUX entertainment system; Head-up Display for displaying information on the windshield; 360-degree Camera.

The SL 43 is equipped with the AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension; AMG high-performance braking system with yellow calipers; Rear-wheel steering system with a maximum steering angle of 2.5 degrees and active aerodynamics control system called AIRPANEL with automatically adjustable rear wing.

The Mercedes-AMG SL 43 is now available in Vietnam and ready to be delivered to customers in November 2023.

As for the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE – the famous model in terms of speed, power, and long-standing iconic value of the AMG brand, the German automaker plans to launch it in the second quarter of 2024. With an expected recommended price of VND 12,290,000,000, customers can Pre-order starting from November 2023. Note that this is the expected price for the SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE, this price may change on the official launch day of the car.

The Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE convertible is the highest-performance version of the legendary SL series in this comeback.

Details about the equipment for this special version in Vietnam have not been accurately announced. However, some notable technologies are expected, including the new-generation 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G automatic transmission, high-performance AMG ceramic brake system with yellow painted brake calipers and characteristic “AMG Carbon Ceramic” black lettering along with the V8 biturbo 4.0L engine that is hand-assembled, producing a maximum power of 816 hp and a torque of 1420 Nm. This engine is paired with an intelligent variable all-wheel-drive system 4MATIC+.

Still featuring the convertible sporty design with Roadster 2+2 seating layout, the SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE stands out with the premium carbon exterior design package AMG Carbon Package combined with 21-inch AMG sports alloy wheels with matte black multi-spoke design. The Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE retains the distinctive sporty characteristics of the original SL series while strongly showcasing the unique luxury and incorporating the latest technology of modern Mercedes-AMG models.
