Mercedes-Benz Vietnam offers complimentary home charger for EQ electric car buyers until June 2024.

Specifically, the eligible models for the promotion include the EQS 450+, EQS 580 4MATIC, EQB 250, EQE 500 4MATIC (SUV), and EQS 500 4MATIC (SUV).

As the leading luxury electric car brand in the Vietnamese automotive market, Mercedes-Benz has shown clear directions in investing and expanding the use of electric vehicles.

In 2022, the German automaker introduced the EQ electric car models to the Vietnamese market with the flagship models EQS 580 4MATIC and EQS 450+. In September 2023, at the Xe & Nghệ thuật The Avantgarde exhibition, Mercedes-Benz continued to launch three fully electric SUV models, covering all SUV segments and becoming the automaker with the most luxury electric car models in the domestic market.

Among them, the EQS 500 4MATIC is a 7-seater SUV that can travel from 513 to 616 km per charge according to the WLTP standard, with a price of VND 4,999 billion.

The EQE 500 4MATIC is a 5-seater SUV that can travel from 462 to 549 km per charge on average, with a price of VND 3,999 billion.

The EQB 250 is a 7-seater SUV that can travel from 422 to 473 km per charge on average according to the test standard, with a price of VND 2,289 billion.

HOME CHARGING SOLUTIONS

As the future vision of the German automaker, all-electric car models are always a focus of development by Mercedes-Benz globally as well as in Vietnam. Currently, Mercedes-Benz offers two options for charging EQ electric cars at home: the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox and the Flexible Charger.

Mercedes-Benz Wallbox

The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox (retail price: VND 46.95 million) does not include the installation cost and is a dedicated charging unit installed at the customer’s home. It can be connected to a single-phase or three-phase power supply (from 10A to 32A), with a charging power of up to 7.2 kW at 1-phase 230V and up to 22 kW at 3-phase voltage. For EQ models in Vietnam, the maximum power for 3-phase charging is 11 kW. For example, it takes about 11 hours to fully charge the high-voltage battery of an EQS 450+ sedan from 0% to 100%. A notable advantage of Mercedes-Benz EQ models is their long-range capability on a single charge. Therefore, owning a Wallbox charging station at home allows customers to use their vehicles confidently, as they can simply plug in and charge the car overnight and have enough power for one or several weeks of use.

Flexible Charger

The Flexible Charger is a portable charging solution that includes a main charging control unit and various power adapters, making it easy for customers to charge their vehicles while traveling. With the Flexible Charger, customers can directly plug into a standard 220V household outlet, a dedicated single-phase outlet, or a three-phase outlet anywhere.

These two charging solutions allow customers to have full flexibility in charging their Mercedes-Benz EQ electric vehicles at home as well as on long trips.

MERCEDES-BENZ WALLBOX PROMOTION UNTIL JUNE 2024

In addition to continuously bringing the most premium electric car models to the market, the German automaker is also promoting exclusive offers for electric vehicle customers. Specifically, from November 2023 until the end of the second quarter of 2024 (ending on June 30, 2024), customers who purchase Mercedes-Benz EQ electric vehicles will receive a complimentary Mercedes-Benz Wallbox worth VND 46.95 million.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the electric car models are also eligible for the “Customer Appreciation” program. This program is exclusively for customers who have purchased a minimum of 2 new cars from the authorized Mercedes-Benz Vietnam dealer network within 5 years from the registration date of the first car. Specifically, within the program period until December 31, 2023, customers who buy new Mercedes-Benz models, including locally assembled vehicles (CKD) and fully imported and electric models (CBU), will receive a 2% discount on the second car.

All EQ electric car models are currently available on the Mercedes-Benz Online Store. Here, customers can easily search for and choose their desired vehicle and preferred dealer, as well as check the availability of their favorite model at various authorized dealers. Within less than 2 hours after leaving their information, the selected dealer will proactively contact the customer to provide advice and arrange a test drive.
