The new BMW X5 showcases the advantages of balance and maneuverability with notable upgrades such as the all-new iDrive digital system and curved display design as well as the latest BMW 8.0 operating system. Meanwhile, the BMW XM stands out as the first high-performance model launched in Vietnam.
The integration of digital technology in the control unit in the main cabin of the new BMW X5 is the most valuable upgrade. The integration of the BMW 8.0 operating system and the iDrive control system allows owners to control the car intuitively. The Curved Display incorporates a 12.3-inch infotainment display behind the steering wheel and a 14.9-inch center control screen. With these upgrades, the control panel of the new BMW X5 uses touch operations and voice control.
The new engine delivers a maximum power increase of 46 horsepower compared to the previous version, reaching 381 horsepower. The torque specification of the X5 reaches up to 540 Nm thanks to the Mild Hybrid technology. With these changes, the new BMW X5 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
As for the BMW XM, it is inspired by BMW’s new modern design language. The headlamps are divided into two separate sections, the kidney grille with a yellow border and the Iconic Glow lighting system around the edge are the highlights of the front of the car. The lighting cluster on the BMW XM is divided into two separate areas – locator lights and turn signal lights integrated into ultra-thin bulbs, while the main adaptive LED headlights are arranged separately just below. The horizontal grille bars are a special highlight of the famous BMW M GmbH sports cars, while the kidney-shaped grille is unconventional.
In the passenger compartment, the new BMW XM offers spacious and luxurious surroundings with exclusive M Lounge design, Alcantara headliner, and all door panels with three-dimensional diamond trims. Ambient Light, four-zone automatic air conditioning, and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with a 1,475-watt amplifier are all standard features of the BMW XM in Vietnam.
The new BMW X5 and BMW XM launched in Vietnam offer more choices for customers in the luxury SUV segment. Currently, both models do not have official prices.
