Hyundai Motor America is preparing to launch three all-new or upgraded models this summer. Among them, the most anticipated model by enthusiasts is the next-generation Hyundai Santa Fe, which is expected to be launched soon.
The Korean automaker has not yet revealed the exact launch date, but the crossover model will feature a new boxy design with a straight front. The car will have rectangular headlights, integrated with a daytime running LED strip in the shape of an H, serving as turn signal lights.
In addition, the new Santa Fe will have a seamless horizon lamp LED strip running horizontally across the grille, similar to the Sonata and Grandeur. Furthermore, the roof is relatively flat and the A-pillars are painted black, combined with a floating roof design.
Inside the cabin, we can expect a more upscale interior with a digital instrument cluster and a modern infotainment system.
Alongside the Santa Fe, Hyundai will unveil an updated Sonata for the US market in the coming weeks. Detailed information is still limited, but the automaker confirms there will be hybrid and N Line variants. The car is expected to have a new front fascia with muscular air intakes, slim headlights, and seamless taillights. The cabin stands out with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system.
In addition, US users will soon receive an upgraded Elantra this summer. This model was introduced earlier this year in South Korea under the name Avante. The car has been redesigned with a slimmer grille, a sportier front bumper, new headlights, and a redesigned rear bumper.
The interior upgrades on the new Elantra in the US market may include digital key technology and a 10.25-inch display screen.
