Kia’s next-generation CL4 code-named K3 continues to inherit the current generation’s chassis and transmission system, although there will be updates and likely include a new hybrid variant. The engine options for the current Kia K3 Sedan include a 1.6 Turbo GDi engine with a power output of 201 horsepower and a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine with a power output of 147 horsepower.
In terms of design, although the heavily camouflaged prototype hides the car well, we can still see similar design cues as on the EV9 model. Specifically, the new Kia K3 will be equipped with vertically placed headlights similar to those on its SUV sibling.
Looking at the rear, we can see a coupe-like shape that is reminiscent of the KIA NOVO concept unveiled a few years ago, but with taillights similar to those on the Picanto/Morning model.
Currently, the interior of the next-generation Kia K3 remains a mystery. However, it is likely that the new K3’s cabin will receive significant upgrades in both design and equipment, aiming to increase its appeal to users.
The new Kia K3 is expected to be officially unveiled in 2024 as the 2025 model.
