As we know, the all-new Mazda2 has officially debuted in the Southeast Asian market at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2014. Not only does it captivate with its futuristic design, but the new generation Mazda2 also makes a statement with a range of advanced technologies. It can be said that the exterior design of the new Mazda2 immediately brings to mind “sportiness.” Meanwhile, the interior space prioritizes the comfort of the driver and passengers.
Mazda has incorporated higher quality materials into the interior of the all-new Mazda2. The joy of driving the new Mazda2 on the road is improved thanks to the paddle shifters that were previously only available on sports cars. In addition, the automatic air conditioning system helps balance the temperature inside the car.
The all-new Mazda2 in the Indonesian market is equipped with a single engine option: the SkyActiv-G, a direct fuel injection engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters and a high compression ratio of 13:0:1. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a SkyActiv-M manual transmission or a SkyActive-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission. As a result, the new Mazda2 promises to be very fuel efficient.

But it doesn’t stop there, the all-new Mazda2 is also equipped with an automatic stop-start system when the car is idle at a red light or stopped for more than 0.35 seconds. Then, when the driver presses the accelerator pedal, the engine will automatically start again. The effect of this technology is to improve fuel efficiency.
In terms of safety, the all-new Mazda2 is equipped with advanced blind-spot detection technology. The system will search and alert the driver when it detects another vehicle running within 50 meters of the all-new Mazda2. In addition, the system also detects blind spots on the left and rear of the car to assist the driver.
If you want entertainment, the driver can rely on the MZD Connect system available in the all-new Mazda2. The system allows the driver to connect the car to mobile devices for browsing the web and listening to music. In addition, it features a convenient 7-inch touchscreen display.
