In a recent announcement, Toyota said that the new generation Camry will be officially launched on November 14th.
Camry the current generation was introduced in 2017 and the improvement of this model is necessary for Toyota to maintain its competitive advantage, especially when rivals like Honda Accord or Kia K5 have already updated their new versions.
An important information has been confirmed that the 2024 Camry will use a hybrid system combined with a full-time AWD 4WD system. Toyota may provide this sedan with the Hybrid Max drivetrain, which includes a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine with two electric motors. In the new Toyota Crown, this engine has a power of 340 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The new generation Toyota Camry is developed based on the improved TNGA-K chassis platform, similar to the 2023 Crown. The design of this sedan is still kept secret, but a leaked image shows that the 2024 Camry has a front headlight cluster that resembles the Prius. The rear of the car also has changes with new taillights and the word “Camry” placed high on the trunk lid.
The 2024 Toyota Camry will have a starting price not higher than $30,000 (about 730 million VND). The current version has a price tag of $27,515 (about 668 million VND) for the base configuration, including some additional fees. This price of the Camry is significantly lower than its direct competitor, the Honda Accord, which currently has a starting price of $28,990 (about 700 million VND).
