For car enthusiasts, especially Mercedes-Benz lovers, the name Mr. Xuan Hoan is no stranger. He was born in 1980 and currently works in Saigon. Terms like “sales assassin” – “Mercedes boss” – “famous sales guru” are all used to describe this person.

Mr. Xuan Hoan started out as a salesperson in 2004, but then switched to the field of communication. It wasn’t until 2014 that he wholeheartedly devoted himself to working for the prestigious German luxury car brand, Mercedes-Benz.

Here, his outstanding abilities have created a well-known personal brand for Mr. Xuan Hoan in the Mercedes-Benz sales and other luxury car brands.

Currently, in addition to his main job as a “hardcore” salesperson for Mercedes, Xuan Hoan also has his own car garage specializing in upgrading interiors and retrofitting accessories for luxury cars.

On March 24th, Mr. Xuan Hoan posted a cryptic status on Facebook accompanied by a photo with designer Thai Cong. He wrote:

“Hoan met Mr. Thai Cong to “renovate the house.”

Or did Mr. Thai Cong meet Hoan to “retrofit the car”?

There will soon be many surprises.”

His status made the online community completely surprised. Previously, the news that designer Thai Cong had “acquired” a vintage car had received a lot of attention. Many people have high expectations for this collaboration between the two “tycoons” in the industry, believing that it will create a masterpiece.

The next day, Mr. Xuan Hoan shared a video of his direct meeting with designer Thai Cong. In the video, he revealed that he will be the one to “transform” the vintage MGA 1600 car. According to him, there are only 2 people in Vietnam who own this model, and Thai Cong is one of them.

During the meeting, Mr. Xuan Hoan openly admitted that he “couldn’t sleep all night” when he learned that the MGA 1600 car had fallen into the hands of the Vietnamese-German interior designer. The reason is that as a person in the industry, he “could not have a car like that”. He also revealed that he plans to find a vintage car for himself in the near future.

However, the main topic in the posted video was their experience with the vintage MGA 1600 car and the upcoming changes. The initial idea of designer Thai Cong was to turn the vintage car into a racing car. In addition, he wants to repaint the car, change the interior leather to match his own style.

Designer Thai Cong plans to change the steering wheel, add power assist, and upgrade the sound system… Mr. Xuan Hoan is responsible for the design and transformation of the car. According to the information shared, this is a project that he has put a lot of effort and dedication into.

In an interview, Mr. Xuan Hoan once said, “I have always been passionate about car upgrades. Many years ago, I had a passion for and had close relationships with the top car tuning experts in Vietnam. I customized and personalized every first car I owned to suit my personal preferences. Therefore, the experience of understanding the desires and aspirations of customers who want to upgrade their cars comes from myself.”

Car tuning has many different directions, it is not necessary to completely dismantle the car to be considered tuning. In Vietnam, customers still have concerns if their beloved car is dismantled because of the belief that the car will lose its originality. Therefore, I andmy team at the garage have come up with many methods to beautify and upgrade the cars to suit the requirements of each customer.

My criterion is to “transform” the car when it comes to the garage while still preserving its original nature. The “transformation” of each car is based on individual creativity, depending on the customer’s preferences and budget.”

As can be seen, he is a person who is passionate about cars and puts a lot of dedication into upgrading vehicles. The cooperation between him and designer Thai Cong continues to be followed by many people. The public hopes that this collaboration between the two designers will create a vintage MGA 1600 “masterpiece” that retains the essence of the era while being modern and trendy.
