The newly launched 2024 Toyota Tacoma not only attracts attention with its completely new design, but also comes with many interesting features. Specifically, the JBL speaker is originally located on the control panel. Users simply need to place the speaker in this empty position, the speaker will automatically connect to the audio system of the pickup truck almost instantly and can be used normally. Everything is carefully calculated and Toyota employees revealed that the Japanese automaker initially came up with the idea and sketched out a few other ideas. Then, they worked with JBL to bring practicality to this speaker.
This set of speakers is not too big but still heavy. Therefore, the sunflower land automaker has considered the case where the car has an accident and the speaker is detached from the control panel, posing a danger to the occupants. They have equipped a separate locking mechanism to ensure safety.
In addition, this is a Bluetooth speaker like many other traditional speakers because it uses similar controls and the battery can last up to 10 hours. The speaker is also dustproof and can be submerged in water up to a depth of 0.9 meters. The manufacturer also adds a USB-C port for users to charge as needed.
Although some car manufacturers have provided optional Bluetooth speakers, Toyota believes that this is not an option and they have equipped it as standard on off-road vehicles, designed for outdoor trips like the Tacoma.
The all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma was just launched in the US on November 28th, with a more rugged and youthful design, and shares similarities with its “sibling” Toyota Tundra. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the starting price of the car is $31,500 (~ VND 765 million) and the most expensive version costs up to $52,100 (~ VND 1.27 billion).
The interior is simple but more modern than the previous generation, with a large 14-inch center touchscreen. Other amenities include heated steering wheel, power-adjustable front seats with cooling/heating, HUD display, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and Toyota Sefety Sense 3.0 safety system on all versions.
