Recently, a social media platform has been circulating images of a beautiful Porsche 911 Carrera S with the license plate 30K-599.99 rolling on the streets of Hanoi. Soon after, many people recognized this as the license plate that was once up for auction.
The special license plate 30K-599.99 was auctioned by the Vietnamese auction company on September 25th, between 8-9 AM. The winning bid for this license plate reached 1.79 billion VND.
Currently, the owner of this license plate has attached it to a new generation Porsche 911 Carrera S sports car, coded as 992. It is known that the Porsche 911 Carrera S has a listed price starting from 8.5 billion VND. If we take into account all the taxes, options, and the license plate, the total price of this car would not be less than 12 billion VND.
This Porsche 911 Carrera S features a modern gray exterior, combined with a sporty rear spoiler that makes the car stand out while driving on the road.
Powering the car is a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine, producing a maximum output of 385 horsepower. The 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera S now takes only 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h before reaching a top speed of 308 km/h.
Paired with the engine is a 7-speed manual transmission. Additionally, customers can opt for an 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
In this new generation, the Porsche 911 Carrera S is also equipped with a Wet Mode, which enhances stability on slippery roads. The wheels are fitted with sensors that detect wet surfaces, providing data for the stability control system of the car.
