Despite being quite expensive, the Mercedes-Benz S400 is not uncommon in Vietnam. To make his car more special than the rest, the GTA-Wrapping workshop has upgraded the w221 generation S400.

The most noticeable feature on the modified Mercedes-Benz S400 is the original paint color replaced with matte black. Furthermore, the car is equipped with the S63 AMG body kit to give it a sportier appearance. The original wheels have been replaced with imported Vossen S17-15T alloy wheels from the US.

In terms of performance, the Mercedes-Benz S400 features a turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine with a maximum power of 333 horsepower, 480Nm of torque, a 7-speed automatic 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission, and a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and achieves a top speed of 250 km/h.

Notably, the w221 generation Mercedes-Benz S400 is one of the first models equipped with the Magic Body Control adaptive suspension system, which includes a camera mounted on the center rearview mirror that continuously scans the road surface ahead. The central computer synthesizes information about the road surface ahead and automatically adjusts the stiffness of the shock absorbers on all four wheels, providing a smoother ride over bumps for the S400.

Although the adaptive air suspension system is widely used in luxury car models today, at the time more than 10 years ago when the w221 generation was introduced, this was a breakthrough technology from Mercedes-Benz.
