Recently, the Vietnamese online community has been buzzing with rumors about a more than 60-year-old Bentley S1 that will soon be in Vietnam. The widely shared images show that this Bentley S1 comes in two colors, black/silver, with shiny alloy wheels and white-painted tires, in line with its classic style.

The Bentley S1 is rumored to belong to the 1957 model and has now reached 62 years old. If these information are accurate, it will be the oldest Bentley in Vietnam when it arrives.

The Bentley S1, also known as the Bentley S, was manufactured in a total of over 3,500 units in the years 1955-1959. This car model was inspired by the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, hence the two models share many similarities in design. The most noticeable difference is the radiator grille and the emblem at the front of the car.

The Bentley S1 was later replaced by the Bentley S2. The Bentley S2 features an aluminium engine, a 6.2 litre V8 engine, power-assisted steering and a redesigned dashboard.

The Bentley S1 is equipped with a 6-cylinder inline engine, a 4.9 litre displacement, and a 4-speed automatic transmission. During testing, this model could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 13.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 166 km/h. The vehicle weighs 1,924 kg.
