The Sustainable Trade Forum took place during Trade Day, the first time it was held at the Climate Change Conference. Chaired by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Economy UAE, the forum saw the participation of global leaders, industry experts, and representatives from leading global businesses.
VinFast brought its multidimensional strategies to the Sustainable Trade Forum to promote supply chain resilience, global disruption resilience, and environmental impact minimization. VinFast also shared its strategies for modernizing and optimizing the vertical integrated supply chain model. In addition, VinFast contributed perspectives from Southeast Asian businesses to enhance the flexibility and sustainability of the global supply chain.
Representing ASEAN businesses at COP28’s Sustainable Trade Forum, VinFast reaffirmed its strong commitment to fostering innovation and contributing to emission-free economic development, towards a more sustainable future for all.

In addition to the “Enhancing Sustainable Supply Chain Resilience” session, VinFast representatives also participated in the discussion on electric mobility in Vietnam organized by the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam and UNDP Vietnam. The company shared its experience in developing the electric mobility ecosystem in Vietnam, from electric vehicle production and development, to comprehensive electric mobility and nationwide charging infrastructure development.
Throughout the 12-day event, VinFast’s premium electric vehicle model, the VF 9, will be showcased at the Expo Dubai City Exhibition. The event also marks the first introduction of the VF 9 model to the UAE market.
