Recently, the Global CEO of VinFast Auto represented Southeast Asian businesses in the panel discussion “Enhancing Resilient Supply Chains” at COP28 Sustainable Trade Forum.
VinFast was the only Southeast Asian business to participate in this important panel discussion alongside leaders from leading global corporations.
The Sustainable Trade Forum is held within the framework of the Climate Change Conference for the first time. Chaired by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Economy UAE, the forum is attended by global leaders, industry experts, and representatives of leading global businesses.
VinFast has brought various multidimensional strategies to the Sustainable Trade Forum to promote supply chain resilience, withstand global disruptions, and minimize environmental impacts. VinFast has also shared its modernization and optimization strategies for the company’s vertically integrated supply chain model. In addition, VinFast has contributed approaches from a Southeast Asian perspective to enhance the flexibility and sustainability of global supply chains.

In addition to the session “Enhancing Resilient Supply Chains,” VinFast also participated in the panel discussion on electrified transportation in Vietnam organized by the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam and UNDP Vietnam. The company shared its experience in developing an electric mobility ecosystem in Vietnam, from electric vehicle production and development, to the comprehensive electrified transportation ecosystem and nationwide charging infrastructure.
Throughout the 12-day event, VinFast’s premium electric vehicle model, VF 9, will be showcased at Expo Dubai City. The event also marks the first introduction of the VF 9 model in the UAE market.
