Xpeng is a relatively young car company, but they have achieved many impressive successes. Recently, their sales figures for November showed a remarkable increase.

Specifically, Xpeng Motors announced that they delivered 20,041 new electric vehicles in November in a statement on December 1. This sales figure represents a 245% increase compared to the same period last year and a 0.2% growth compared to the previous month.

One of the important factors contributing to the company’s sales is still the Xpeng G6, a model that has proven to be popular among consumers and has contributed significantly to Xpeng’s sales.

Xpeng sets historic record of delivering over 20,000 electric vehicles to customers in November

Xpeng delivered 8,750 Xpeng G6 vehicles this month, accounting for 44% of the company’s sales. The total sales of Xpeng and Xpeng G6 are nearly equal to the previous month. Since its launch, the cumulative delivery of Xpeng G6 has exceeded 36,000 units.

In the past few months, Xpeng’s performance has started to recover. In the third quarter of 2023, the company reported cumulative deliveries of 40,008 vehicles. This figure has surpassed the milestone of 40,000 units and represents an annual growth rate of 35%. Furthermore, the monthly growth rate in the third quarter was 72%.

Despite Xpeng’s recent achievements, it must be acknowledged that the company faced challenges at the beginning of 2023. As of the end of this month, year-to-date sales figures have increased by 11% compared to the same period last year, similar to Xpeng’s year. This increase in sales decline is mainly due to Xpeng’s relatively poor sales performance in the first two quarters of this year.

Xpeng’s products have been significantly influenced in the Chinese market. Part of the impact comes from the new Tesla Model 3, and part comes from products using Huawei’s technology, such as the Aito M7. In the first three quarters of this year, Xpeng lost 9.03 billion yuan (1.28 billion USD), a 33% increase compared to the same period last year. Many consumers and investors expressed concerns about Xpeng’s prospects.
