According to the manufacturer’s listed price, Jeep models currently being sold in Vietnam are priced in the premium range, ranging from 3.5 to nearly 7 billion VND, depending on the different versions.
According to the announcement by Jeep Vietnam Automobiles (JVA) – the official importer and distributor of Jeep and Ram vehicles in Vietnam, Jeep car prices will increase from January 1st, 2023.
Jeep car prices include registration fees and range from about 4 to over 7 billion VND, depending on the version and registered province. Below is the most detailed 2023 Jeep car price list:

Introduced in 1986, the Wrangler is the iconic model of Jeep. The latest generation of this famous off-road SUV was launched in 2018 with a series of design and performance improvements. In total, Jeep Wrangler offers 18 different versions, but the number has decreased significantly in the Vietnamese market with only 4 versions available, and the Jeep Wrangler price in Vietnam ranges from 3.566 to 3.888 billion VND.

With 7 versions, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler offers different body options such as hardtop, removable manual soft top, and power-retractable soft top. The dimensions of the car are 4,785 x 1,877 x 1,832/1,871 (mm); ground clearance ranges from 236-275 (mm) depending on the version; wheelbase is 3,008 (mm); water fording capability is 762 (mm). Customers can also choose between the 2-door or 4-door body style.
The available colors for the Jeep Wrangler in Vietnam are Yellow, Deep Blue, Bikini Pearl Blue, Dark Red, Gray, Silver, Black, Gray, Red, and White.

In terms of interior, the Jeep Wrangler has been improved to be more modern and convenient. The Jeep Wrangler steering wheel features a three-spoke design wrapped in leather, with integrated function buttons and quick shift paddles. Behind the steering wheel is a stylish instrument cluster. All seats in the car are leather upholstered.

The car is equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen and the Uconnect infotainment system that can connect to Android and iPhone smartphones. The car has a WiFi hotspot, 2 USB ports, and 2 12V charging ports. The car features a dual-zone automatic climate control system to cool the cabin.

Performance engine
Jeep Wrangler offers three engine versions for different car versions. Firstly, the 3.6L V6 gasoline engine with a power of 285 Hp, torque of 352 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Secondly, the 2.0L gasoline engine with a power of 270 Hp, torque of 270 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Lastly, the 3.0L V6 Diesel engine with a power of 260 Hp, torque of 599 Nm.
All versions sold in Vietnam use the 2.0L engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, and 2-wheel drive 4WD.
Jeep Gladiator
In Vietnam, Jeep Gladiator is only available in one version, the Rubicon, with a corresponding price of 4.248 billion VND.
Exterior design
It can be said that the Jeep Gladiator is the pickup version of the Jeep Wrangler. The Gladiator also offers options such as hard top or soft top, foldable front windshield, and removable doors like the Wrangler. However, due to the pickup bed, the Gladiator’s length is longer than the Wrangler by 800mm.

JVA has officially announced the RAM 1500 Laramie price in Vietnam ranging from 5,888 to 7,900 billion VND. Currently, the new RAM models only have 3 versions available.

The exterior design of the RAM 1500 Laramie exudes strength and masculinity. The overall dimensions of the RAM 1500 Laramie (4×4 5.7L version) are 5816 x 2018 x 1968 mm with a wheelbase of 3573 mm.

The RAM 1500 Laramie has the most spacious interior design in its segment. The dashboard area is uniquely arranged with a vertical rectangular screen surrounded by control buttons. The front seats are designed to hug the occupants, providing a comfortable and additional features such as power adjustment, ventilation, and heating. The rear seats are divided into 3 individual seats with ample legroom.

The car features head-up display, interior rearview mirror capable of switching to digital mode to display the rearview camera image, 12-inch Uconnect 4C NAV screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, high-quality 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, noise-canceling technology, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, etc.

According to JVA, the RAM 1500 Laramie uses a powerful 5.7L V8 engine. This engine can provide a maximum power of up to 395 horsepower and a torque of 556 Nm. The car uses an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
Conclusion
Jeep car prices are not cheap, and they are considerably higher than most cars in the same segment. For example, in the pickup truck segment, the Jeep Gladiator competes with models such as the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Colorado, etc. However, with a price ranging from 4.248 billion VND, the direct competitor to the Jeep Gladiator can only be expensive pickup trucks like the Ford F-140.
In the off-road SUV segment, the Jeep Wrangler has almost no direct competitors. The closest rivals to the Wrangler, such as the Land Rover Defender 2023 and Mercedes-AMG G63, are significantly more expensive and belong to a higher-end segment.
The RAM’s main competitor is the Ford F-150. With a listed price of over 5.5 billion to 7.9 billion VND, the RAM 1500 Laramie is superior to its competitors.
Jeep is not yet a widely recognized brand in Vietnam because these cars are relatively niche and cater to those who are truly passionate. The introduction of Jeep models will bring a breath of fresh air to the SUV and pickup truck market in Vietnam. However, the Jeep car prices are considered quite high compared to its competitors in the same segment. It is not surprising that Jeep is considered the brand of true, powerful, and unique off-road machines.
