The Lamborghini Urus is turning 4 years old this year and the Italian car manufacturer is preparing to release a mid-life upgrade – possibly called the Urus EVO with several powertrain changes. While waiting for the upgrade, there have been some “unofficial” upgrades of the Urus.
Pixel wizard Siim Parn has used his talent to create a very interesting Lamborghini Urus, even more attractive than the future Urus EVO.
Designer Siim Parn has taken a yellow 2019 Urus and turned it into a real Super Trofeo Omologato (STO) version. The super SUV features a blue exterior with orange accents on the sides, grille, and rear of the car.
The front door is adorned with a prominent STO label. The wheel arches are aggressively sculpted, and the front and rear bumpers are styled in an STO fashion. Overall, if produced, the Lamborghini Urus STO would have a very aggressive look, and it’s likely that the V10 engine would also be improved.
The Lamborghini Urus is the brand’s best-selling model, with only 4 years needed to produce the 20,000th unit. To meet production demands, the Italian brand has doubled the production speed and increased the workforce by hiring over 500 new employees. The factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese has doubled in size, from 80,000 to 160,000 square meters.
As for the upcoming EVO version, it is likely that the Lamborghini Urus Evo will have an improved powertrain for faster acceleration. The Urus is currently the fastest SUV in the world, with a twin-turbocharged V8 4.0L engine producing 650 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. This sporty SUV takes only about 3.6 seconds to reach 100km/h from a standing start.
