Toyota was established in 1867, headquartered in Japan, is a multinational company and the world’s largest car manufacturer. In 1934, Toyota introduced its first car model and gradually became the only car manufacturer to appear in the top 10 recognized rankings on BrandZ.
In September 1995, Toyota Vietnam was established. This is a joint venture with an initial investment of $89.6 million from Toyota Motor Corporation (70%), Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM) (20%), and KUO Singapore Pte. Ltd (10%). In the Vietnamese car market, Toyota joint venture always takes the leading position with a production capacity of over 30,000 cars per year.
Entering the Vietnamese market early, Toyota cars are offered with a wide range of products in various segments including hatchback, sedan, SUV, pickup trucks, and MPV.
