In recent days, there have been constant news about the 2015 Hyundai i20 in the media. Images of the new generation Hyundai i20, which were not disguised, have been widely circulated on the internet. Now, Hyundai has officially released the official renderings of the new i20.
The familiar hatchback model is designed at the Hyundai design center in Russelheim, Germany. The car also applies Hyundai’s “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0” design language. As a result, the new generation Hyundai i20 looks completely different from the current version.
Specifically, the 2015 Hyundai i20 has a new front end with a distinctive hexagonal grille and redesigned headlights. The bonnet of the new i20 is longer and gives a sporty feel.
The body lines of the new Hyundai i20 are sleeker and more precise. The side of the 2015 Hyundai i20 has an elegant feel with dark-colored C-pillars. Despite its length of less than 4 meters, the 2015 Hyundai i20 still looks quite spacious.

The rear of the car is designed more premium with surrounding rear windows and boomerang-shaped taillights. This design is quite similar to its sibling, the Hyundai Veloster.
Inside the 2015 Hyundai i20 is a completely new interior with significantly improved convenience and quality. From “spy shots,” it can be seen that Hyundai has changed every detail, from the dashboard, steering wheel to the power window control buttons. The steering wheel and interior color of the 2015 Hyundai i20 are quite similar to the Grand i10.

It is expected that the 2015 Hyundai i20 will not change much in terms of engine options. The car may continue to use the 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Next is the 1.4-liter petrol engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The maximum power of the two engines is 84 and 100 horsepower respectively. Finally, there is the 1.4-liter diesel engine with a maximum power of 90 horsepower.
According to the plan, the new generation Hyundai i20 will be officially launched in the Indian market on August 11th. After that, the car may be introduced to the global market at the Paris Motor Show 2014, which will take place in October this year.
