The 5th Vespa Meet event is being launched by the Vespafriends.com forum. After four successful events in Da Nang – Hue (2005), Da Lat (2006), Dong Nai (2008), and Hanoi (2010), this year’s event is expected to take place on April 28th and 29th in Da Nang city.

It is known that this year’s Vespa Meet event will be attended by over 500 members from 40 different Vespa and Lambretta clubs across the country, as well as enthusiasts from countries such as Laos, Thailand, Australia, and the United States.
As part of the event, the organizers have prepared a series of connected activities including social and charitable activities, motorcycle riding skill training and traffic safety promotion, parades, and exhibitions of scooters produced in the 50s and 60s. In addition, participants will also have the opportunity to visit famous landmarks and witness the inauguration of the Vespa Museum in Hoi An Ancient Town.
According to information from the organizers, Vespa, Lambretta, and vintage scooter clubs can register from March 1st, 2015 to March 31st, 2015. The registration fee is 700,000 VND/person, children under 5 years old are free, and the fee for children from 5 – 12 years old is 300,000 VND. Individuals who want to participate in the program without joining a group should wait for the announcement from the organizers on March 15th, 2015.
