Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade Asset Management Company (VietinBank AMC) has announced that Thiên Bình Auction Joint Stock Company will organize the auction for the sale of the McLaren 765LT Coupe with license plate 51K-011.86.

The starting price for the McLaren 765LT set by VietinBank is 27.5 billion VND. Earlier, in October 2023, VietinBank seized this supercar to ensure the recovery of debts from customer Cao Thi Lan Phuong (born in 1991, residing in Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City).
The McLaren 765LT Coupe is the collateral for Ms. Phuong’s loan at VietinBank Branch 4, Ho Chi Minh City. The collateral is registered under the name of Cao Thi Lan Phuong according to certificate of automobile registration number 50100432 issued by the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City on January 28, 2022.

The McLaren 765LT Coupe is produced in limited quantities with only 765 units worldwide. Upon arrival in Vietnam, the price of this supercar can be around 35 billion VND and an additional 5 billion VND after paying various taxes and fees for registration. It is known that there are only 5 cars of this model in Vietnam.
Before being handed over to Ms. Phuong, this supercar was previously owned by a well-known “tycoon” who imported it to Vietnam and registered it for the first time at the end of 2021. During the period of its popularity, this tycoon owned expensive car models such as the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, G800 Brabus, and McLaren 720S Spider.
