Recently, a German startup confidently declared that they can convert a gasoline-powered car into an electric vehicle in just one day.
Converting fossil fuel-powered vehicles into electric vehicles is not too uncommon, but it usually takes a relatively long period of time, ranging from 2 weeks to 6 months, to complete the conversion.
However, the startup company e-Revolt (Germany) is confident that they can do it in just 8 hours. The company can convert a variety of vehicle models, including models from major brands such as: Volkswagen Golf, Polo, Audi A3, Seat Leon…
According to the project manager of e-Revolt, the company’s engineers will remove the old engine block from the car and replace it with patented battery technology and a fully digitized engine frame.
This modified car can travel a range of 250 – 300 km per charge. Currently, e-Revolt is still researching to improve the range for these converted cars.
Furthermore, the conversion cost ranges from 12,000 to 15,000 euros (300 – 400 million VND), which allows users to own a vehicle with the exterior of a gasoline car but with electric drivetrain.
