Ford Vietnam introduces the Basic First Aid Skills Sharing Project – “Small Understanding, Big Safety” to provide basic first aid knowledge in daily life, contribute to limiting casualties, and minimize dangerous actions for victims.
The Basic First Aid Skills Sharing Project – “Small Understanding, Big Safety” is a program organized by Ford Vietnam in collaboration with Dr. Ngo Duc Hung – an emergency resuscitation specialist at Bach Mai Hospital, a lecturer at Hanoi Medical University, and the author of the book “3-minute first aid” to popularize basic first aid knowledge that is often misunderstood in daily life, contribute to limiting casualties, and minimize dangerous actions for victims.
“Every person needs basic first aid skills to be able to respond promptly in life-threatening situations. You don’t have to be a doctor or medical professional to administer first aid. Just by learning and preparing in advance basic first aid knowledge and participating in this free project, you equip yourself with the necessary knowledge of first aid, protect yourself, and help your loved ones around you.” – Dr. Ngo Duc Hung shared.
The first aid knowledge is widely shared through a series of short videos produced by the production team of director Dinh Duc Thanh, which includes 18 videos on basic first aid skills posted on Ford’s official channels, including knowledge about first aid tools, safety principles, basic first aid steps, and first aid cases combined with humorous situations recreating common accidents such as electric shock, drowning, stroke, burns, wound treatment, animal/insect bites, bone and joint injuries, etc. to help viewers understand how to handle and respond promptly in different situations.
Along with that is a set of flashcards designed by artists Thanh Phong and Tran Ngoc Minh Thu to guide the basic first aid steps concisely so that people can carry them with them or store them for use anytime.

Ford Vietnam has shared these basic first aid skills with pickup clubs and driver communities in major cities from North to South. With this video series, Ford hopes to further spread useful knowledge in the community through social media channels.
This project is part of Ford’s DSFL program, which accompanies the community in accessing safe driving knowledge from basic to advanced. Ford aims to expand the program to social activities, sharing correct knowledge with the community not only in safe driving but also in situations that require first aid so that individuals can proactively ensure their own safety and help the community better.
