Recently, there has been a buzz on social media about two brothers in Binh Duong who made a big purchase – a pair of limited edition Land Rover Defender cars in the Vietnamese market.
Specifically, this is the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition, a commemorative product to celebrate 75 years of the British car manufacturer. The limited edition pays tribute to the Land Rover Defender Series I, which was first introduced at the Amsterdam Motor Show in 1948. Only 5 of these cars are officially sold in Vietnam.
“I heard that Vietnam got 5 cars. Well, since there are 2 of us in the family, let’s get a pair to match,” car enthusiast N.K.P. shared about purchasing the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition. He even mentioned, “I liked the Grasmere Green color so much that I had to repaint the entire house to match the car.” This shows that both brothers are willing to spend and have a passion for cars.
The Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition is available in two variants: 90 and 110. All 5 cars brought to Vietnam belong to the Land Rover Defender 110 75th Limited Edition, which has a higher level of personality and comes in a 4-door version instead of the usual 2-door.
The selling price for the Land Rover Defender 110 75th Limited Edition is 7.3 billion VND, making it the second most expensive Defender SUV in Vietnam, only behind the 130 X P400 variant.
The exterior of the luxurious Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition is painted in the impressive Grasmere Green color. The large 5-spoke wheels are also finished in the same green. Additionally, the 75 Years badge is featured at the rear of the car. Many details on the exterior of the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition are painted in black, creating a contrast with the Grasmere Green body.
The Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard Defender models. It is powered by a plug-in hybrid P400e engine that generates 400 horsepower at 5,500-6,500 rpm and 550 Nm of torque at 2,000-5,000 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an AWD drivetrain.
