After Celestiq, Cadillac continues to reveal a brand-new fully electric model called Vistiq. This is a luxury three-row crossover, positioned between Lyriq and Escalade IQ in the brand’s lineup.
Cadillac has not revealed much information about the Vistiq yet, but it is said to be a “design for modern families”. Cadillac’s Vice President, John Roth, says the Vistiq is an extremely attractive electric vehicle that plays a crucial role in the brand’s vision for the future of electrification.
“Our brand now has electric vehicles in almost every luxury segment, offering customers a variety of choices, and Cadillac’s electric models will cover most luxury SUV segments in key markets worldwide over the next two years,” says John Roth.
Like other models in the Cadillac lineup, the Vistiq will be built on the GM Ultium platform. The powertrain of this model is expected to have a similar configuration to the Lyriq, with two electric motors producing about 500 horsepower and a peak torque of 610 Nm, paired with all-wheel drive.
The range of the Vistiq is not yet known. Referring to the Lyriq, this SUV model has a 102 kWh battery pack that provides a range of 494 km per charge with all-wheel drive and 505 km with rear-wheel drive. Considering the Vistiq’s larger size, it is likely that this model will be equipped with a higher-capacity battery pack.
In terms of design, the Vistiq looks like an enlarged Lyriq. The front of this all-electric crossover impresses with the “Black Crystal” grille and vertical headlights on both sides. At the rear, the vehicle is equipped with vertical taillights, similar to the Lyriq and Escalade IQ.
The interior images of the car have not been released yet, but it is likely that the Vistiq will have a spacious cabin with multiple large screens, similar to Cadillac’s current electric SUV models.
