Recently, the news of two brothers in Binh Duong spending over 15 billion VND to buy two limited edition Land Rover Defenders in Vietnam has attracted a lot of attention from car enthusiasts.
So far, one of the rare cars has been registered with the number plate through an auction on October 10th with a bid of only 60 million VND.
The car is adorned with the number plate 51K-777.75. This number plate has the number 75 at the end, signifying the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the first Defender’s launch.
In the Vietnamese market, the Defender 75th Limited Edition is officially distributed with a starting price of 7.359 billion VND, excluding options.
Both Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Editions owned by the two brothers in Binh Duong have an exclusive exterior design with a symbolic Grasmere green paint job, 20-inch alloy wheels, and interior details also painted in the corresponding color. The laser-engraved 75-year logo is located on the tailgate and dashboard.
Inside the cabin, the car is equipped with many modern and premium features such as a 3D panoramic camera, custom terrain mode, Meridian sound system, LED matrix headlights, Pivi Pro infotainment system with an 11.4-inch center touch screen, head-up display, and premium Meridian 11-speaker audio system and wireless charging.
Powering the Defender 75th Limited Edition is a 3.0L turbocharged I6 gasoline engine, with an output of approximately 400 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive.
One of the features that helps this model conquer off-road terrains is the air suspension system with a 430mm travel range. In challenging road conditions, the suspension system can be raised up to 145mm, serving off-road driving modes.
