Experience the All-New MG Cyberster and Test Drive a Variety of MG Cars at the MG Vietnam Event

With the theme “Hyperspace Inbound – Takeoff Through Time”, the program aims to create opportunities for customers to directly experience the latest MG products, especially the debut of the electric sports car, MG Cyberster. Now, the Full Model Test Drive Event marks the largest and most grandiose event of the MG brand in 2023, showcasing the presence of MG in the Vietnamese market.

At this event, customers will have the opportunity to experience 4 models, including MG5, New MG5, MG ZS, and MG RX5 directly on the Dai Nam racecourse. Under the guidance of professional trainers, customers will be able to fully experience the performance, efficiency, and safety technologies equipped on these cars. Most importantly, attendees will be the first customers in Vietnam to experience the electric sports car, MG Cyberster, in the passenger seat. The Cyberster electric supercar marks the milestone of MG’s development and celebrates the brand’s 100th anniversary since its establishment in 1924.

100th Anniversary of the MG Brand (1924-2024)

MG stands for Morris Garages and was established in Oxford, United Kingdom in 1924. It was one of the first automobile brands in the UK and became an icon of the British automotive industry at that time. To welcome the 100th anniversary of the brand’s founding next year, SAIC Motor has officially unveiled the MG Cyberster – an electric sports car that signifies the intersection of the past, present, and future. This relentless journey of development aims to achieve the milestone of 100 years, a historic and meaningful number.

The MG Cyberster is a two-seater electric convertible sports car developed based on the platform of the legendary MGB model in 1964. It not only stands out with a modern sports design, but also retains the unique DNA design elements of the MG brand from its early days of development. The car has a maximum output of 536 horsepower and torque of 725 Nm, allowing the MG Cyberster to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. The chassis design of the MG Cyberster was developed by engineers from the F1 championship team, and it features thin and fast-cooling batteries with advanced technology. Moreover, the car is equipped with the intelligent Banma – Cyber OS driving system, which has won the iF Design Award in the user experience category. The iF Design Award is one of the most prestigious international design awards.
