The classic Land Rover Defenders with their boxy and muscular looks have always been an inspiration for many tuning companies around the world, including Kahn Design.
The UK-based company has just unveiled a customized off-road version of the original 1991 Defender 90.
To make this luxury SUV even more rugged, Kahn has added a wide bodykit with bold riveted details. Additionally, the car is equipped with a new front grille, LED headlights, steel front bumper, and wheel arches. On top, a large air intake has been added to the bonnet to give the vehicle a more aggressive look.
Kahn has also given this classic Defender a set of 20-inch grey wheels paired with Gladiator QR900-M/T 33-inch tires. Furthermore, the car features modified side windows and additional auxiliary lights.
Inside, the SUV is equipped with Recaro Sportster seats covered in brown leather with suede inserts, an Alpine sound system, a touchscreen head unit, a reverse camera, and sound insulation materials. To add a touch of luxury without compromising its classic nature, all cabin details are covered in wood or leather/suede.
The original engine of the 1991 Defender has been replaced with a LS3 V8 6.2-liter engine with a Whipple 4.0-liter supercharger, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 4-wheel drive system.
With comprehensive upgrades inside and out, it comes as no surprise that this customized Defender comes with a hefty price tag. According to Carscoops, Kahn is selling this modified version for a staggering price of $129,000 (3.15 billion VND).
